Pasta Skewers

Ingredients

  • 70g penne pasta
  • ½ pot Jack’s Tomato and basil sauce
  • ¼ pack Jack’s grated mature cheddar
  • ½ pack Jack’s grated mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp tinned sweetcorn
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Basil leaves

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C, fan 180°C, gas mark 4.
  2. Soak 6 wooden skewers in water for 20 minutes.
  3. Bring a pan of salted water to the boil, add the pasta and cook for 3 minutes less than manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. Drain and run under cold water, then pat dry.
  5. Divide between 6 skewers and place onto a baking tray.
  6. Spoon over the tomato and basil sauce.
  7. Top with grated cheddar, mozzarella and sweetcorn.
  8. Season with black pepper.
  9. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  10. Serve topped with basil.
