Mulled Wine

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle red wine
  • 60g brown sugar
  • Zest of 2 oranges
  • Zest of 2 lemons
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 60ml Musgrave brandy

Ingredients available at selected stores.

Method

  1. Pour the wine into a large saucepan with the orange zest, lemon zest, sugar, brandy and ground cinnamon.

  2. Heat gently until the sugar has dissolved and check for sweetness. Remove from the heat and stir in the brandy.

  3. Strain into heatproof glasses and serve at once.
