Method
-
Tip the flour, yeast, salt and sugar into a bowl and mix to combine.
-
Add the olive oil and 175ml water then mix to a soft dough.
-
Tip out onto a floured work surface and knead for a few minutes until smooth. Divide in half, then form into a heart shape. Using a rolling pin, roll the heart shape to about 5mm thick, stretching the sides out with your hands to help create the heart shape.
-
Place onto a sheet of parchment or greaseproof paper and repeat with the other piece of dough.
-
Spoon the sauce over the pizza dough leaving a 2cm border around the edge. Scatter the mozzarella and cheddar over the top then lay the chorizo on top, following the heart shape.
-
Set aside to rest while you preheat the oven to its highest setting and place 2 upturned oven trays on the racks. This will give the dough time to rise – so anything from 15 minutes to 1 hour will be fine.
-
Place a tray under the sheet of paper and slide the pizzas, one at a time, onto the hot oven trays in the oven, then bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
-
Remove and grind some black pepper over the top before serving.
