Halloween - Spider Soup

  • 1 x 600g carrot and coriander soup
  • 1 small tube black food colouring
  • 80ml double cream

Method

  1. Pour the soup into a saucepan and add enough black food colouring to turn the soup a grotty green colour, or keep going and add enough to get the soup black!

  2. Heat until piping hot then pour into serving bowls.

  3. Pour the cream into a small jug and drizzle the cream over the soup in a spiral, starting at the centre.

  4. Use a toothpick or skewer to draw lines out from the centre of the soup to the edge of the bowl, start at 12 o’clock then work round an hour at a time until you have a fine spiders web! Serve straight away.
