Starters/Snacks Desserts Fried Dates and Ice Cream

Ingredients
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 8 pitted dates
- ½ tub vanilla ice cream
- 2 Jack’s mini shortbread bites
Method
- Heat a frying pan until medium hot.
- Add the olive oil and the dates and fry gently on each side for 30-40 seconds.
- Scoop the ice cream into serving bowls.
- Top with the fried dates.
- Crumble the shortbread over the top.
- Finish with a drizzle warm olive oil.
- Serve straightaway.
