Fried Dates

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 pitted dates
  • ½ tub vanilla ice cream
  • 2 Jack’s mini shortbread bites

Method

  1. Heat a frying pan until medium hot.
  2. Add the olive oil and the dates and fry gently on each side for 30-40 seconds.
  3. Scoop the ice cream into serving bowls.
  4. Top with the fried dates.
  5. Crumble the shortbread over the top.
  6. Finish with a drizzle warm olive oil.
  7. Serve straightaway.
