Crispy Fried Egg

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes
  • 2 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 1 egg
  • ½ pack microwave Jasmine rice
  • 1 tbsp roughly chopped coriander
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds, optional 
  • 1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce 

Method

  1. Heat a frying pan until hot.
  2. Add the oil, spring onions and chilli flakes and heat for 1 minute until just softened.
  3. Crack the egg into the spring onions and fry until crispy around the edges and the white is set.
  4. Serve on the rice, topped with coriander, sesame seeds and chilli sauce.
