Drinks Cider, Rum & Cinnamon Punch

Ingredients
- 100g caster sugar
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 50ml dark rum*
- Juice of 1 lime
- Vintage Dry Cider*
- Apples for garnish
Method

Firstly make the cinnamon syrup, place the sugar and ground cinnamon in a small pan with 100ml water and heat gently whilst stirring to dissolve the sugar. Simmer for 6-8 minutes.

Add the rum, lime juice and cider, bring to a simmer.

Pour into four glasses, and serve with a slice of apple as garnish.
*For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum and use apple juice instead of cider.
