Desserts Chocolate Custard Twists

Ingredients
- 1 pack Jus Roll croissant dough
- 2 tbsp ready-made custard
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C, fan 180°C, gas mark 6.
- Unroll the croissant dough.
- Spoon the custard over 3 pieces of the dough.
- Roughly chop the chocolate and scatter over the top of the custard.
- Fold the remaining dough over the top to cover and press down all the way around the edges.
- Cut into 6 strips.
- Lift each piece up separately and twist the ends in opposite directions to give a “twist” then stretch and place on to a lined baking tray.
- Place in the oven to bake for 15 minutes until golden brown and just crisp.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
