Chocolate Twists

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Jus Roll croissant dough
  • 2 tbsp ready-made custard

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C, fan 180°C, gas mark 6.
  2. Unroll the croissant dough.
  3. Spoon the custard over 3 pieces of the dough.
  4. Roughly chop the chocolate and scatter over the top of the custard.
  5. Fold the remaining dough over the top to cover and press down all the way around the edges.
  6. Cut into 6 strips.
  7. Lift each piece up separately and twist the ends in opposite directions to give a “twist” then stretch and place on to a lined baking tray.
  8. Place in the oven to bake for 15 minutes until golden brown and just crisp.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
