Side Dishes Starters/Snacks Lunch/Dinner Canape Spoons

Ingredients
- 1 x 320g Jus Roll puff pastry sheet
- 1 egg, beaten
- Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 3 tsp cream cheese
- 15g smoked salmon
- 2 chives, finely chopped
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 lemon, zested
- 3 tsp Boursin
- 2 olives, halved
- 2 leaves flat leaf parsley, finely chopped
- 3 tsp tomato pesto
- 3 small mozzarella chunks
- 3 basil leaves
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C, fan 180°C, gas mark 6.
- Unroll the pastry, place a dessert spoon onto the pastry and cut around it.
- Repeat using all the pastry.
- Brush with egg and season with salt and black pepper.
- Roll up a piece of silver foil into a 4cm tube and lay across a baking tray.
- Cover with a piece of parchment paper.
- Gently lay the spoons over the centre tube to create a handle.
- Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and allow to cool.
- Top 1/3 with cream cheese, smoked salmon, chives, black pepper and lemon zest.
- Top 1/3 with Boursin, olives and parsley.
- Top 1/3 with tomato pesto, mozzarella and basil leaves.
- Serve straightaway.
