Side Dishes Starters/Snacks Camembert And Chorizo Board
Ingredients
- 250g room temperature camembert cheese, rind removed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 8 slices chorizo, roughly sliced
- 2 sprigs thyme, leaves picked
- Freshly ground black pepper
- crusty bread, to serve
Method
- Roughly chop the camembert and tip into a bowl.
- Whisk for 5-8 minutes until really soft and fluffy.
- Meanwhile, heat a frying pan until hot. Add the oil and chorizo and fry until golden brown and the oils released.
- Spread the soft camembert across a serving board or plate.
- Top with the crispy chorizo and drizzle chorizo oil over the top.
- Scatter with thyme and a sprinkling of black pepper and serve with crusty bread.
