Desserts Apple Crumble

Ingredients
- 1.2kg Bramley apples, peeled, cored and roughly chopped
- 1 tsp ground mixed spice
- 75g wholemeal flour
- 50g flaked almonds
- 60g butter, grated
- 100g porridge oats
- 40g mixed seeds
- 100g light soft brown sugar
- 60ml vegetable oil
- 200g 0% Greek yoghurt

Method

Preheat the oven to 180C/fan 160C/gas 4.

Tip the Bramley apples into a large ovenproof dish, add the mixed spice and toss together until coated. Set aside while you make the crumble.

Place the flour and flaked almonds into a bowl and rub together to lightly crush the almonds. Add the butter and rub until the mix resembles fine breadcrumbs then add the oats, seeds and sugar and mix together. Pour in the oil and stir through until evenly mixed.

Sprinkle over the top of the baking apples in an even layer, not pressing down at all. Place In the oven to bake for 25-30 minutes until the crumble is golden brown and the apple tender.

Serve hot, cold or warm with a dollop of Greek yoghurt.
