Supporting local communities
We would like to thank all our customers for your patience and support while we have tried to keep the shelves full and our customers and staff safe.
Budgens stores are owned and run by independent retailers, many of whom are family businesses. Our stores have always played an active role in the community, and we are proud to do whatever we can to helpduring this difficult period.
Budgens Celebrate 150 years
Last year, Budgens celebrated it’s 150th birthday, launching its Budgens Hero Award. All stores were able to nominate a local charity for a donation ranging between £150 to £300. Over the year, funds were given out to a range of worthy causes including Macmillan cancer support, British heart foundation and Yorkshire air ambulance

I was just treated with such kindness by the local Budgens in Crystal Palace. I wanted eggs! Because I work for the NHS the half dozen he’d put by for himself, he gave to me with discount. #nhsworkers thank you.
